Congratulations to Ken Yates and Abigail Lapell for their wins at the 2017 Canadian Folk Music Awards! The gala took place on Sunday, Nov. 19 at the Bronson Centre in Ottawa.

Ken took home two awards honouring his latest album Huntsville: English Songwriter of the Year and Emerging Artist of the Year.

Abigail’s latest album Hide Nor Hair was named Contemporary Album of the Year, which it truly deserved.

Thanks are also extended to everyone else on Ken and Abigail’s teams who helped make this happen. It’s been a thrill to be a part of it!

Congrats to 2017 Canadian Folk Music Awards nominees!
