Produced in Calgary by Chris Dadge—who also plays drums with Alvvays and Chad VanGaalen—Cayenne Flowerbed builds upon Starpainter’s alt-country foundation, adding dashes of shoegaze, alt-pop and Crazy Horse-style crunch.
